Zoning Ordinances

The Zoning Board of Appeals approves or denies requests for variances from the City's
Zoning Ordinances .They hear appeals on the Building Inspector or Official's decisions as to the interpretations of the Zoning Ordinances .

How can I become a member for this Advisory Board?

There is a short application which is available at City Hall or can be downloaded (Click here). After submitting the application and proper review suitable recommendation can be by the Mayor, City Council, or City Manager for appointment to this advisory board.

When does the Zoning Board of Appeals meet?

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on the last Wednesday of each month with the exception of the December meeting, which meets the Wednesday before December 25.
