Function/Description
The Board of Review handles disputes over the assessment of property, while allowing citizens to discuss possible errors in the assessment of property. The Board of Review consists of the City Council members. Three members sit on the Board of Review at a time. An appearance at the local Board of Review is a prerequisite to further appeal to the Michigan Tax Tribunal.
