Directs, supervises, and coordinates the activities of crews assigned to the mainenance, repair and construction of streets, sewers, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, parks and grounds maintenance, and the repair and servicing of equipment.

Provides oversight to contractors engaged by the City to complete public works projects. Conducts field/project inspections to ensure the quality and efficency of the department.

Coordinates the department's involvement in the preparation and resource allocation for a wide variety of community events.

Serves as on-call supervisor. Responds to emergencies and provides information to public works employees working evening or weekend shifts.

	Provides maintenance and repair		Seasonal leaf/grass pickup Janitorial services for City buildings Christmas tree pickup Grass/weed/tree spraying Dumpster and trash can pickup Traffic signal maintenance Street and pedestrian lighting School flashers Miscellaneous electrical City Marina Aquatic weed spraying at City Marina Miscellaneous bridge maintenance

Parks
	Provides lifeguards during summer months Provides beach cleaning Provides trash disposal Maintains grounds and buildings Operates and maintains outdoor ice rink during winter months Provides park set-up for various summer activities
